NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are investigating after a man was shot in North Nashville early Wednesday morning.
The investigation began when an officer stopped a white Ford 150 for speeding on Dickerson Pike just before 2 a.m.
Metro police reported a passenger in the truck had an obvious injury to his left arm.
He was uncooperative during questioning but alluded to being shot at on Buchanan Street, according to Metro police.
Paramedics were called to scene and described the injury as a graze wound from a bullet, which appeared to be at least a couple hours old.
The victim was taken to TriStar Centennial Medical Center for treatment.
The investigation is ongoing and no additional information was released.
