NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Three people have been arrested after an attack on an employee Monday at a business in Northeast Nashville.

Seleste Carter, Jeremy Knox and Princess Lewis are all charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Metro police were flagged down Monday and asked for assistance at a business in the 300 block of West Trinity Lane.

According to arrest affidavits, an employee told officers that Carter, Knox and Lewis were there to have repairs done to a tire, but the employee refused service because the suspects would not pay.

Following a heated argument, the paperwork states Carter and Knox threw tires at the employee, hitting him.

The employee reportedly grabbed a metal pole to protect himself and his wife and hit Carter in the side of the neck.

Lewis grabbed another metal pole and struck the employee in the head and shoulder, officers said.

Police said the incident was captured on surveillance video and the suspects were arrested.
