Metro police were called to a crash on Harding Place near South Permiter Hill Wednesday evening. When officers arrived, they reported finding Amaya who they say “stated he intentionally crashed in the to rear of the victim’s vehicle so that the police would come and take him to court.”

Responding officers say Amaya said he was having problems with his wife and needed to “a way to go to court to discuss problems.” The officers reported telling Amaya there were other ways to resolve issues.

The person who was hit reported having back pain but refused medical attention. There was minor damage to both cars involved.
