A man wearing a sweatshirt, sweatpants and a black beanie is accused of robbing a retail chain store in 100 Oaks.
Justin Easley, 34, was arrested Wednesday night on a charge of robbery.
According to an arrest affidavit, police responded Wednesday to the Ross Department Store on Thompson Lane where employees said a man had robbed them and claimed he had a weapon.
An officer spotted Easley, who matched the suspect description, near Guitar Center, the paperwork states.
Police said Easley acted as if he had a weapon in his sweatshirt pocket, so an officer drew his weapon and ordered the suspect to the ground.
As the suspect was being handcuffed, a wad of cash reportedly fell from his pocket and a stack of $20 bills was seen sticking out of his ankle cuff.
An estimated $3,900 was located on Easley, along with a “green leafy substance,” investigators said.
Police said a manager at Ross positively identified Easley as the robber.
