Metro police found a man inside a Gray Line Tennessee ticket booth after he broke two windows out, according to an arrest affidavit.
Officers were called to the booth near Walk of Fame Park early Saturday morning and reported finding David Witherspoon, 29, inside.
Two windows on the booth were broken and officers say Witherspoon did it by throwing cell phones, 2 bar stools and a microwave at them, police say.
According to the arrest affidavit, Witherspoon was taking items from the booth indicating he, “may have had the intent to possess the items if he was not interrupted by police.”
Witherspoon is charged with public intoxication, burglary and vandalism.
