Police: Man arrested after throwing glass bottles at cars on Nolensville Pike

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police arrested a man who they say was throwing glass bottles at cars driving down Nolensville Pike.

Esteban Perez, 20, is charged with evading arrest and disorderly conduct.

Officers were called to the area near TriStar Southern Hills because they say Perez was repeatedly shoplifting from businesses in the area. When officers got to the area near Nolensville Pike and Harding Place, they say Perez ran away and hid in some nearby woods.

Police say Perez would “periodically wave” at them. Officers say Perez then went back into the woods, grabbed some glass bottles and started throwing them at passing cars.

Police eventually stopped Perez and booked him on charges. The arrest affidavit says Perez has been banned from every location in the area and “has been a nuisance to that intersection for the last 4 weeks.”
