Police looking to identify gunmen in 6 Nashville robberies

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are investigating after six businesses, including five gas stations, were robbed at gunpoint across Nashville early Monday morning.  

The first robbery happened at the A Plus Exxon station on Murfreesboro Road near Donelson Pike around 12:45 a.m. followed by another at a Mapco on Smith Springs Road in Antioch at 1:15 a.m.  

Three additional robberies were committed by three suspects who police said were armed with pistols and are now believed to have committed all the robberies. 

  • Mapco in the 5000 block of Nolensville Pike around 1:20 a.m.  
  • Circle K in the 2200 block of Nolensville Pike around 1:50 a.m.  
  • Twice Daily in the 7200 block of Highway 70 South around 2:35 a.m.  

Additionally, the Waffle House on Lebanon Pike in Donelson was robbed just before 4 a.m. 

Metro police reported three suspects in their early 20s with their faces covered and armed with weapons took cash from the register. 

The suspects were described by Metro police as black males who were wearing hooded sweatshirts and black ski masks. They fled the robberies in a silver Nissan Sedan. 

No one was injured during any of the robberies.
