Police investigate violent carjacking at Brentwood gas station

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. (WKRN) - Authorities are searching for the person who struck a woman in her head and then stole her vehicle Monday morning as she pumped gas in Brentwood.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. at the Concord Corner Market on Wilson Pike.

According to police, a woman told officers she was at the fuel pumps when a teenage male approached her, armed with a handgun, and hit her in the head.

The suspect then drove away in the victim’s white 2007 Cadillac DTS.

Police described the suspect as a black teenager with a thin build wearing a dark-colored hoodie-type sweatshirt with the hood over his head.
