NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A woman told officers she stabbed her brother in the chest at an apartment near Nashville International Airport Wednesday afternoon because the siblings were arguing over his PlayStation, a Metro police report states.
Alliyah Chaney, 20, was booked Wednesday night into the Metro jail on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Metro police responded to a reported stabbing at an apartment on Southwood Park Place, off Briley Parkway.
Officers said the victim, who was standing outside with a stab wound to his chest, told police he and Chaney, his older sister, got into an argument after she took his PlayStation.
According to an arrest affidavit, Chaney told officers she stabbed her brother because he was "getting loud with her" and "he is big."
The paperwork states she also claimed her brother was antagonizing her to stab him so she did it.
The victim's injuries were not considered to be life-threatening, police said.
