LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WKRN) – The mother of a Lawrenceburg child that was badly beaten earlier this year has been arrested while out on bond for the incident.

According to Tennessee River Valley News, District Attorney Brent Cooper confirmed that Brooklyn Tidwell was arrested for shoplifting.

Tidwell was arrested and charged with aggravated child neglect. She was free on $50,000 bond.

Detectives said the child sustained broken bones and internal injuries on Jan. 26 as a result of direct physical abuse from the father, 30-year-old Michael Fisher.

D.A. Cooper says his office will file a motion to revoke Tidwell’s bond.

She was booked into the Lawrence County Jail.
