A man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend and a child has been added to Wilson County’s list of “Most Wanted” suspects.
Standing at 6 feet, 5 inches and weighing 245 pounds, Harold Haney is wanted on charges including two counts of kidnapping, interference with emergency calls and domestic assault.
According to the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office, Haney’s girlfriend showed up at a residence on Hickorydale Court in the area of Mt. Juliet to retrieve her car.
The victim alleges Haney forced her into the residence against her will, pushed her to the ground causing her injury and then took her cell phone to prevent her from making any calls for help.
When a juvenile showed up at the home, the victim said Haney told them they were both getting in the car with him and needed to escape Wilson County.
The victim said she convinced Haney to let her drive and she tried to get to Mt. Juliet, but Haney started to yell and told them if they didn’t do what he wanted, it was “going to be bad for everyone.”
When the car reached the area of Walmart in Hermitage, Haney reportedly got out and ran.
Anyone with information on the 47-year-old suspect’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 615-444-1412.
