Most Wanted: Suspect sought in series of Nashville vehicle thefts

A 21-year-old Madison man is wanted in connection with a series of vehicle thefts from fitness centers around Nashville. 

Metro police said arrest warrants have been issued charging Devonteze Webb with vehicle theft in three cases from earlier this year: 

  • YMCA (2624 Gallatin Pike) 

  • YMCA (3001 Lebanon Pike) 

  • Planet Fitness (5708 Charlotte Pike) 

Investigators are also working to figure out if Webb is connected to at least ten other incidents: 

  • July 17: YMCA (2624 Gallatin Pike) 

  • Aug. 2: YMCA (1000 Church Street) – 2 vehicles taken 

  • Aug. 13: YMCA (1000 Church Street) 

  • Aug. 15: YMCA (2624 Gallatin Pike) 

  • Aug. 25: YMCA (4041 Hillsboro Circle) 

  • Sept. 1: Planet Fitness (2381 Murfreesboro Pike) 

  • Sept. 2: YMCA (1000 Church Street) 

  • Sept. 3: YMCA (1000 Church Street) 

  • Sept. 18: Planet Fitness (4880 Nolensville Pike) 

Metro police said Webb is wanted on similar charges in Sumner County, though details on the alleged crimes there have not been released.
