Metro police looking for man who robbed Brentwood bank

Metro police are looking for a man they say robbed a bank Saturday morning. 

According to police, the man walked into the SunTrust Bank on Thoroughbred Lane around 10:30 a.m. and asked for a deposit slip. He then wrote a robbery demand note on the slip and gave it to the teller, who complied. After getting the money, the suspect fled. 

He is described as a white man in his late 40s or 50s. He stands approximately six feet tall with an average build. He was wearing a silver Dallas Cowboys hat and a black and white plaid shirt.
