NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a man was shot in North Nashville Wednesday night.

A woman flagged down an officer near 26th Avenue North and Clarksville Pike just before 10 p.m.

Her husband told Metro police he was about a mile away from the intersection when two men walked up and shot him.

Medics rushed the victim to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he is expected to recover.

A short time later, another man with a gunshot wound was dropped off at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.

Investigators are working to determine if the two shootings are related.
