Man arrested for pointing gun at driver in Mt. Juliet

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was arrested Sunday after pointing a handgun at another driver near Interstate 40 in Wilson County.

The Wilson County sheriff’s office identified the suspect as 21-year-old Jaiden Anthony Burke.

Mt. Juliet police said Burke pointed the gun at the driver on the overpass at North Mt. Juliet Road and I-40. Officers were able to catch up with the driver and take him into custody.

Burke is charged with aggravated assault. Officers were also able to recover the handgun and no injuries were reported.

This is the latest in a string of “road rage” incidents across Middle Tennessee in recent months.
