Man arrested, charged with 2nd degree murder for 2017 drug overdose death

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) –  A man is charged with the 2017 drug overdose death of a South Nashville woman. 

According to police, 31-year-old Christopher Floyd was arrested on a 2nd-degree murder indictment for the Dec. 2017 overdose death of 33-year-old Sara Roberts at her E. Thompson Lane home. 

Narcotics detectives allege that Floyd provided Roberts with heroin and fentanyl. 

Floyd is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond.
