A teenage murder suspect is now in police custody. The Lebanon Police Department, with the help of the Clarksville Police Department, captured wanted murder suspect, Christian Chauncey Cain Ballance, at a hotel in Clarksville.

Numerous tips from the public helped lead authorities to the whereabouts of Ballance, said Lebanon police.

Detectives set up surveillance overnight Saturday at the Gateway Inn and Suites on Holiday Drive in Clarksville and collected enough evidence to get a search warrant of a room.

Early Sunday, SWAT teams from both agencies served the warrant and apprehended Ballance, along with three juveniles, without incident.

Ballance was taken back to the Wilson County Jail for processing. The three juveniles are being detained for further questioning.
