Kentucky State Police are asking for the public’s help to identify four men responsible for a home invasion in Trigg County, Kentucky, early Saturday morning.

According to the Trigg Co. Sheriff’s Office, the home invasion happened at a residence on Compton Road sometime between 2 and 2:30 a.m.

Officials say two men knocked on the door, wearing what appeared to be law enforcement equipment and announced themselves as the Trigg Co. Sheriff’s Office.

When the family opened the door, the two men rushed inside with two other men and detained the adults and juveniles inside.

The men stole several items from the home before fleeing in an unknown car in an unknown direction.

The residents were not harmed in the incident and did not need medical attention.
