Hermitage Chili’s robbed at gunpoint; 2 suspects sought

Metro police are investigating after two people robbed the Hermitage Chili’s at gunpoint early Monday morning.  

It happened just before 12:30 a.m. at the location on Old Hickory Boulevard. 

According to police, the last two customers paid their bill and employees let them out through a side door.  

A few minutes later, two men came thorough the same door with a long gun and robbed the restaurant of cash and took an employee’s cell phone, Metro police reported. 

The suspects fled the restaurant out the back door. No suspect description was released. 

The investigation is ongoing.
