Suspect wanted in South Nashville bank robbery

Police are trying to identify the man that robbed the bank inside a Walmart in South Nashville on Wednesday afternoon. 

According to officials with the Metro Nashville Police Dept. and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the suspect approached the counter at FSNB Bank located inside the Walmart on the 5800 hundred block of Nolensville Pike around 11:30 a.m.

The robber allegedly passed the teller a robbery demand note, fleeing in a blue Ford Expedition after he received cash. 

The suspect (pictured) is approximately 6-foot-1-inches tall and 200 pounds. He was wearing a black leather jacket and a baseball cap.
