Credit card skimmer suspect arrested in Mt. Juliet

Mt. Juliet detectives arrested a man wanted for charges related to skimmers, according to officials.  

Police said detectives received information that a man wanted in Charlotte, N.C. was likely in the Mt. Juliet area.  

The man was arrested driving a rental car on Old Hickory Blvd. Near I-40 Saturday night around 9 p.m., according to a release.  

Police said during the arrest, they found credit card skimming equipment and multiple cloned credit cards.  

Officials said it is likely he was in the process or attempting to skim credit cards in the area. 

Police encourage people in the area to monitor their credit card activity.  

Because of the ongoing investigation, the man’s identity has not been released.
