Convicted felon wanted after man shot outside Jefferson Street business

Metro police are searching for a convicted felon after a man was shot in Nashville Monday night.  

The victim, 42-year-old Troy Zains, was found shot in the abdomen outside Cameron's Janitorial Service in the 1200 block of Jefferson Street around 8:30 p.m.  

According to police, the investigation indicates Deundre Bridges arrived at the business and began arguing with the owner of the janitorial company. Police said Bridges has a child with the business owner.  

During the heated argument between the two, police said Zains attempted to intervene and persuaded Bridges to leave. It was then, according to witnesses, Bridges allegedly shot Zains and fled the scene.  

At the time of the shooting, police said Bridges was free on a $20,500 bond on a variety of offenses, including domestic assault and felony drug counts.  

Anyone with information on Bridges whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME. Police said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
