New surveillance footage has been released, showing suspects linked to a string of car break-ins in Smyrna.
A home security system captured the suspects rummaging through a car just after midnight Friday morning.
This happened at the Vineyards subdivision.
You can see two suspects, one on the driver’s side, one on the passenger side, both going through the car.
A third suspect runs up and tries to get into the truck parked nearby.
The suspects then pop the car’s trunk before running back to a get-away car.
In total, they spent less than a minute at this scene.
Police said the suspects were driving a silver Ford Escape with a temporary tag.
They were last seen heading west on I-24 toward Nashville.
