BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WKRN) - Two Bean Station brothers have been charged with murder in connection to a stabbing death in East Tennessee on Saturday, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
TBI agents joined the Bean Station Police Department in investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of 28-year-old Joshua L. Beasley.
According to a release, officers responded to a call at a home in the 200 block of Ned Clark Road in Bean Station. Upon arrival, officers said they found Beasley at a neighboring house suffering from stab wounds.
He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
During the investigation, agents determined 37-year-old Travis Peters and 35-year-old Daniel Peters were the men responsible for the crime, according to a release.
Agents said warrants were obtained charging Travis and Daniel Peters with first-degree murder. On Saturday afternoon, Travis Peters was arrested and booked into the Grainer County Jail on $2 Million bond.
Daniel Peters remains at large.
