Suspect wanted after fleeing traffic stop in Wilson County

LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — Police are looking for a man who escaped officers during a traffic stop in Wilson County early Saturday morning.

When deputies attempted to stop the man around 3 a.m., the man fled near Africa Road. He then reportedly knocked on the doors of a few homes Vance Lance-Hartsville Pike area asking residents to use their phone.

A woman, later identified as Kayli Stevens, was reportedly taken into custody.

His name has not been confirmed. However, the suspect was described as a white man wearing a black shirt and shorts. He has facial hair and may be carrying a backpack.

Police say the man did not display any weapons so it is unclear if he is armed. No other information was released.
