NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A potentially “armed and dangerous” man wanted by Kentucky authorities was arrested Thursday morning at Nashville International Airport.
Aherrick Brown, 23, was booked into the Metro jail on a charge of fugitive from justice.
According to an arrest affidavit, Southwest Airlines alerted airport police around 6 a.m. that Brown had a bag that smelled of marijuana.
When officers met with Brown, they said they determined he had an extraditable warrant out of Kentucky.
Court records show that warrant was from Christian County, where he was wanted for failure to appear in court on a charge relating to the use of restricted ammunition during a felony. The sheriff’s office said Brown could be armed and dangerous.
He also had active warrants in Clarksville, the paperwork states.
Bond for Brown was set at $250,000.
