Two men wanted for a kidnapping and robbery in Green Hills last week have been taken into custody.

Orlando Harris Jr. and Deion Glover were arrested late Tuesday evening at 17th Avenue North and Wheless Street. Police said the men were taken into custody without incident.

Police alleged the 21 and 19-year-old pistol-whipped, robbed, and kidnapped a Green Hills man from his garage on Aug. 7.

Police said the 33-year victim arrived home at 10 p.m. and parked in his garage where he was immediately struck in the head and had a pistol pointed at him. Two men demanded money and tried to take the victim’s car, but didn’t know how to drive a car with manual transmission.

Investigators said they forced the victim into their car, which had three other people in it, and drove him to an ATM to make a withdrawal. The men threatened to kill the victim and his family.

After getting the cash, the suspects fled. The victim walked to a nearby business and called police.
