Eighty-five pounds of marijuana were seized during the search of a Nashville hotel room Friday.
Metro police reported the marijuana was recovered after an investigation by narcotics detectives in cooperation with the Sheraton Music City Hotel, which is located off McGavock Pike.
Investigators believe Twaski Adams, 37, of Jackson, Mississippi, had been selling marijuana in the Nashville area for several weeks.
The marijuana was found during an execution of a search warrant of Adams’ hotel room.
He was booked into the Metro jail and charged with felony marijuana possession. He has been released on a $15,000 bond.
