NASHVILLE, Tenn.(WKRN) - A 14-year-old is in custody after he allegedly robbed a woman in a parking lot over the weekend.
Police said around 6 p.m. Saturday a woman was walking in a parking lot on Thompson Lane when she was approached by a young man and young woman.
Officials said the young man, identified as 14-year-old Brian Thompson, pulled a pistol and demanded her belongings. The teen girl with Thompson then hit the victim in the face and grabbed her purse.
Officers said they located Thompson at Knollcrest Apartments on Creekwood Drive on Wednesday night.
According to a release, Thompson had the victim’s stolen cell phone. He later admitted to the robbery in an interview.
His 16-year-old accomplice was arrested in another county. She will also face robbery charges.
Police said the two remain under investigation for other robberies.
