2 Nashville teens arrested for convenience store robberies

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two teens are in custody after a rash of armed robberies at Nashville convenience stores.

According to police, 16-year-old David Nunn III was arrested Saturday at Top Golf after police confirmed he was there. He was carrying a loaded semi-automatic pistol with a laser sight at the time of his arrest. 

Officers said Nunn was charged in juvenile court with multiple counts of aggravated robbery in connection with the Apr. 29 robberies of the Exxon Market on Murfreesboro Pike, the Mapco store on Nolensville Pike, and the Apr. 27 robbery of the Raceway Store on Old Hickory Boulevard. 

Police also said they arrested 16-year-old William Washington. who was wanted for aggravated robbery for the Apr. 29 Exxon robbery. 

Both teens are being held in juvenile detention.
