2 juveniles face charges after being stabbed on bus in East Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Police are investigating an incident in east Nashville.

Police responded to the call around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night at the corner of Dickerson Pike and Marie Street.

Police said two juveniles were stabbed and transported to Vanderbilt Pediatrics.

Officers believed the incident started on an MTA bus where the juveniles attacked a woman.

Officers said the woman had a knife and stabbed the juveniles in self-defense. She sustained injuries to her face.

Police officials said the juveniles will be charged with misdemeanor assault after they are treated.

The investigation is ongoing.
