Metro police say they have charged an 18-year-old man with criminal homicide for the murder of a 24-year-old man at an Antioch apartment complex.

Craig Crisp was found with an apparent gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Hickory Lake Apartments on Apache Trail on Aug. 11.

He was rushed to a local hospital where he died during surgery a short time later. Police believe the shooting stemmed from an apparent robbery attempt.

On Monday, police said they arrested Michael Russell at a condo complex on Anderson Road.

Police said he implicated himself in the murder during questioning.

He faces a criminal homicide charge.

Police said Russell and a 15-year-old are suspects in the armed robbery of a 54-year-old woman in the same apartment complex on Aug. 5.

Russell is also being charged with aggravated robbery in that case.

Police are still searching for the 15-year-old suspect.
