Crews battled a two-alarm fire at a West Nashville apartment complex early Wednesday morning. 

The fire began around 4 a.m. at the View on the Cumberland apartments on Cabot Drive. 

Fire officials told News 2 the fire started in a kitchen and spread throughout four units of the complex.

One person was taken to an area hospital with unknown injuries. 

The fire was extinguished quickly as crews attacked the blaze aggressively, according to fire officials. 

The American Red Cross has been called to help with seven displaced families.
