Motorcyclist dies after crash in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 22-year-old man died after a crash in Clarksville Sunday evening.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near South Hampton Place.

Clarksville police said the man was riding a 2004 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard when the bike collided in the intersection with a Hyundai Sonata driven by a 48-year-old woman.

The rider was taken to Tennova Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. His identity was not immediately released.

The investigation is ongoing and no charged have yet to be filed.
