Clarksville home builder hit by copper thieves again

News

Copper thieves are back and they’ve hit a home builder in Montgomery County for a second time.

C. Blackwell Construction said this week  they discovered four of their properties on Gentry Drive in Clarksville, had been looted for copper wire.

“It’s just so frustrating. There’s probably a total between the four homes, ten to 15 thousand dollars worth of repairs.” said John Pugh, a foreman with C. Blackwell Construction.

It was back in June that News 2 showed the damage left by burglars at three homes on Salem Ridge Road in Montgomery County.

C. Blackwell Construction says they are working closely with police and have invested in another surveillance system.

The construction company is offering a five thousand dollar reward for any information that leads to an arrest. If you have any information you can either contact the company at (931) 896-2888 or Clarksville Police at 931-654-TIPS (8477)
