NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WCMH) – After work today, sit back, relax and enjoy that glass of vino. After all, it is National Drink Wine Day.
There are some health benefits to consuming wine as well. Moderate drinkers have lower risks for liver disease, type two diabetes, heart attack, stroke, and some cancers.
Wine has also been known to reduce “bad” cholesterol, or LDL, and increase “good” cholesterol, known as HDL.
So today, sip that Merlot or Chardonnay, and spread the word that it is National Drink Wine Day.
