Gallatin police say the victim found inside of a burning car in a parking lot on Saturday morning has been tentatively identified.
According to police, the remains have been identified as Morgan Stocks of Portland. Positive identification is pending an examination of medical records, police said.
Stocks’ body was found in a burning car at the Sumner County Board of Education parking lot around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
The investigation is continuing, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting.
