Bear wandering around UT campus removed by TWRA


KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A bear was removed from the University of Tennessee campus after being found on the property Sunday Morning.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said the bear was wandering the campus and got stuck inside Lindsey Nelson Stadium, the UT baseball stadium.

TWRA said officers were able to quickly tranquilize and remove the bear with the help of UTPD officers.

TWRA tweeted a video, showing them releasing the bear into Foothills Wildlife Management Area in Blount County.
