Bear spotted in Manchester


MANCHESTER, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said a bear has been spotted multiple times in the Manchester area.

According to Barry Cross with the TWRA, the bear is believed to be a young cub and has been seen in the area of New Bushy Branch Road.

Cross said the TWRA has responded to several sightings but it was gone each time upon their arrival.

Wildlife officials warn anyone who sees the bear to leave it alone and call 800-624-7406.
