Ashland City businessman charged with aggravated statutory rape

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) – An Ashland City businessman was taken into police custody Friday night for aggravated statutory rape.

According to authorities, Timothy Felts faces four counts of aggravated statutory rape. He is also charged with violation the sex offender registry.

Felts, the owner of The Lunch Box, which recently closed, was booked into the Cheatham County jail without bond.

The 49-year-old was accused of sexual battery by an authority figure in 2009.
