After a washout of a Saturday, more rain will fall overnight, although most of it on the light side.

Expect generally an inch or less additional rain around Nashville with slightly higher amounts east of I-65, especially on the Cumberland Plateau.

Rain will end from west to east early Sunday morning as a cold front moves across the state.

Look for partly to mostly cloudy and cool conditions the rest of Sunday with a few light showers possible late in the afternoon.

Highs Sunday only in the mid 50s.

Colder air moves in tomorrow night on strong northwesterly winds dropping temperatures into the mid to upper 30s by Monday morning.

There may even be a few snow showers, that’s right snow showers, on the Plateau by Monday morning.

Even though no significant accumulation is expected it is very late in the season to be talking about snow in middle Tennessee!
