4 men arrested for robbing couple playing Pokemon Go

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN)- Four men were arrested for robbing a couple who was playing Pokemon Go.

The crime happened just before Midnight Saturday at the East End United Methodist Church on Holly Street.

According to Metro police, a man and woman were playing Pokemon Go when four men approached them and demanded their phones and keys at gunpoint.

Officers used the phones’ GPS system to locate the men. They were found inside a van parked at the intersection of 14th Avenue North and Pearl Street.

The suspects have been identified as Deangelo Fisher, 20, Emanuel Taylor III, 19, Anthony Gray, 19, and Jontrez London Jr, 20.

All four were charged with two counts of aggravated robbery.

Fisher faces an additional charge for being a fugitive from justice on a theft charge in Jefferson County, Alabama.

He is being held in lieu of $250,000 bond.

Taylor, Gray, and London are behind bars on a $100,000 bond each.

Police are urging citizens to remain aware of their surroundings and avoid distractions.
