Four people are displaced after a townhome in Murfreesboro was damaged in a fire early Friday morning.
The fire began around 1:30 a.m. at a residence in Midtown Estates on West Main Street.
Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue reported the residents were evacuated to safety and the fire was put out quickly.
No one was injured.
The fire appears to be accidental and electrical in nature, according to Murfreesboro Fire and Rescue.
Someone in a unit reported an issue with a bathroom vent fan earlier in the day.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
The displaced residents are receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.
