3 arrested, accused in car burglaries at 3 Franklin apartment complexes


FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Three young men were arrested by Franklin police early Monday morning after they reportedly fled from officers.

According to a press release, the men are accused in multiple car burglaries at at least three apartment complexes.

Police say they only targeted unlocked cars and were spotted checking door handles Monday morning before they were arrested.

They are accused of stealing anything of value from inside, including handguns, electronics, and sunglasses.

Carlos Alcazar, Michael Cotton, and Jeavaunie Francis-all of Nashville-are charged with motor vehicle burglary, possession of burglary tools, and evading arrest.

Each was booked into the Williamson County jail on $15,000 bond. They are due in court Nov. 3.
