22-year-old accused of shooting acquaintance at Giles County home

A 22-year-old woman faces multiple charges after a man was shot at a Pulaski home.  

According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the victim, a 56-year-old man, was shot at his Chapman Lane home on Tuesday by an acquaintance later identified as Brooke Wallis.  

Wallis is charged with criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder, aggravated assault and theft of property.  

She was booked into the Giles County jail on a $60,000 bond.  

The gunshot victim was taken to a Nashville hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not released. A motive for the shooting was not immediately known.
