2 women arrested, 2 men cited in Cool Springs prostitution bust

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two women were arrested and charged with prostitution and promoting prostitution Friday in Cool Springs, and two men were issued citations.

Franklin police said they acted on a tip that prostitution might be taking place at the hotel at 680 Bakers Bridge Avenue.

Officers conducted surveillance Friday afternoon and say it didn’t take long for them to observe traffic in and out of a room.

As a result, Edith Massie and Charly Lewis were taken into custody on prostitution charges. Officers also seized Massie’s 2007 GMC Yukon at the time of her arrest.

Massie was released on $17,500 bond on Sunday while Lewis remains in jail on the same bond.

Police said two men were also issued misdemeanor citations for patronizing prostitution and later released.

“All four will have the opportunity to see one another again,” police said, “in court on May 14 at 1 p.m.”
