2 teens charged after break-in at Bell Road clothing store

News

Two teens have been charged after two break-ins at an Antioch clothing store.

Police said a tip from one of the suspect’s mothers led to the arrest of the 16 and 17-year-old.

Both are charged in Wednesday and Friday’s break-ins at Bullets and Mullets located at 1309 Bell Road.

Police have since reportedly recovered stolen property from the 17-year-old’s home.

Metro police said the suspects broke multiple glass windows to gain entry into the store. Several items were stolen, including clothing and jewelry.

During police interviews, both teens admitted they used a hammer to break out the store’s glass. Both teens had cuts on their hands.

Bullets and Mullets has been broken into four times since it opened three years ago.

Police are working to identify other suspects in the case.
