2 sought after South Nashville gas station robbed at gunpoint

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Metro police are investigating after the clerk at a South Nashville gas station was robbed at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

It happened around 3 a.m. at the Mapco located at 15131 Old Hickory Blvd.

Metro police said two men, one of whom had a silver revolver, demanded money from the clerk before driving away in a red sedan with a chrome grill and fog lights.

The suspects were described by police at white men, one who was wearing a tan hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans while the other was wearing a red and white flannel shirt and blue jeans.
