NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Two Tennessee lottery players won a combined $150,000 in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing.
A player in Erin, Tennessee, about 75 miles northwest of Nashville, won $100,000, while another person in Collierville, Tennessee, won $50,000.
Both players matched four of the five white numbers drawn, plus the red Powerball number.
Lottery officials said since the Erin player added the “Power Play” option for an extra $1, the base prize was multiplied by the “Power Play” number drawn, which was two.
The prize money has not yet been claimed and information on the winners was not immediately known.
Wednesday night’s drawing had more than 29,000 winners in Tennessee alone. The Powerball now climbs to $403 million.
