Two men were killed in a shootout Saturday night during an apparent drug deal at an apartment complex in Antioch.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. at the Preakness Apartments off of Bell Road.

Metro police said Tyler Bradley and Tori Murphy agreed to meet in the parking lot of the complex for a drug transaction.

During the drug deal, investigators said Murphy tried to rob Bradley, 21, and both men shot each other.

Officers found Bradley on the ground in the parking lot. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.

Murphy was taken to Southern Hills Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, as well.

Two handguns were recovered in the parking lot, police said.
